1. Terms of use
1.1 What this service is
Interlearning AI is a study support platform for students taking the Diploma Programme. It offers syllabus explanations, AI-generated mock exams, feedback on the student's own writing, guidance for choosing Internal Assessment and Extended Essay topics, and academic organisation tools.
Who it is for. Students in the final two years of secondary education within the Diploma Programme, and the families supporting them. It is a study and practice tool, comparable to a revision guide or private tutoring.
What it is not. Interlearning AI is not a school or an educational institution. It does not deliver the Diploma Programme, does not enrol students, does not issue diplomas, certificates, qualifications or grades, does not mark official examinations, and takes no part in the awarding body's assessments. Passing or failing rests with the student and the awarding body, never with this platform.
1.1 bis Who provides the service
Interlearning AI is a service provided by Yana Carbo Benitez, a sole trader based at Av. 25 de Julio and Ernesto Albán, Guayaquil, Guayas Province, Ecuador. You can write to us at arbex.cc@outlook.com.
1.2 Permitted use
The service is offered for practice and study. By using it you agree that:
- You will not use it during a real assessment, exam or supervised submission.
- You will not present text generated entirely by the platform as your own.
- The writing assistant suggests improvements to text you write; it is not designed to draft your essay, and misuse is the responsibility of whoever does it.
- You will respect the academic integrity rules of your school and of your curriculum.
Breaching these conditions may lead to account suspension without a refund for the current period.
1.3 Subscribing and age
Paid subscriptions are always taken out by an adult: a parent, legal guardian or the school on the student's behalf. A student under 18 cannot complete the purchase alone, because in most jurisdictions a minor cannot be bound by contract. The free plan requires the consent of whoever holds parental responsibility or guardianship when the user is a minor.
1.4 Payments, renewal and cancellation
- Prices are stated in US dollars; applicable taxes are calculated at payment according to the billing country.
- The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until cancelled.
- Cancellation can be requested at any time and takes effect at the end of the period already paid for, keeping access until that date.
- Payment is handled by an external payment provider acting as merchant of record: it is the legal seller shown on your receipt, applies the taxes due in your country, and is what appears on your bank statement. Its identity is shown on the payment form before you confirm. Interlearning AI never stores full card details.
- Refunds are governed by the refund policy in section 3.
1.5 AI-generated content
Explanations, mock exams, corrections and grade band predictions are generated automatically. They are study support material, not an official assessment nor a guaranteed prediction of results. The grade band is always presented as an estimate with a confidence range and does not replace the judgement of the school's teaching staff.
1.6 Intellectual property
The platform's content is original and built from public information about the curriculum. We do not reproduce copyrighted exam material. Content generated for an account may be used freely for personal study, but not redistributed or commercialised.
1.7 Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee a specific academic result nor the total absence of errors in generated content. Maximum liability towards the user is limited to the amount paid in the preceding twelve months.
2. Privacy policy
2.1 Who processes the data
The data controller is Interlearning AI. For anything related to this policy you can write to arbex.cc@outlook.com.
2.2 What we collect
- Account data: name, email address, language, school, and the subjects taken with their level.
- Academic data: mocks completed, texts submitted for feedback, and performance against the assessment criteria.
- Commercial contact data: whatever is voluntarily sent through the forms on this site.
- Billing data: handled by the payment gateway; we keep only the subscription status, never the card details.
2.3 Minors
A large share of our users are between 15 and 18 years old. Therefore:
- We require verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian before creating a minor's account.
- We collect the minimum data needed to provide the service.
- We never use student data for third-party advertising, and we do not sell or transfer it for commercial purposes.
2.4 Who sees what
- The student sees their full history.
- The family, if the student authorises it from their account, sees general progress trends. Never the content of individual conversations. The student can withdraw that authorisation at any time.
2.5 Legal basis and retention
We process data to perform the service contract, on the basis of consent (for minors and for commercial communications), and on legitimate interest in improving the product. Academic data is kept while the account is active and for up to twelve months after it closes, unless a legal obligation requires longer.
2.6 Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of your data by writing to arbex.cc@outlook.com. If you are a minor, the request may be made by your parent or legal guardian. We respond within thirty days.
2.7 Security and providers
Academic data is stored encrypted, with strict separation between individual and aggregate information. We work with infrastructure, language model and payment processing providers acting as data processors under contract.
2.8 Payments: what the provider handles and what we handle
Subscription billing is handled by an external payment provider acting as merchant of record: it is the legal seller of the subscription, issues the invoice and settles the corresponding taxes. Its identity appears on the payment form, on the receipt and on your bank statement. This means that:
- Payment details —card number, expiry date, security code— are entered directly into the provider's environment. They never pass through our servers and we never see them.
- The provider processes, as an independent controller, the data needed for billing and fraud prevention: name, email address, billing address, country, tax identifier where applicable and the transaction's IP address. That processing is governed by the provider's own privacy policy, linked from the payment form.
- We receive and keep only what is essential to provide the service: email address, plan, subscription status, billing country and the transaction identifier.
- When the subscriber's email is pre-filled into the payment form, it travels only to the provider and solely to create the subscription.
- When you exercise the rights in section 2.6 over billing data, we pass the request on to the provider where the data sits under its responsibility, and we tell you when we do.
If we change payment provider, we will update this section before the change takes effect.
3. Refund and cancellation policy
3.1 Fourteen-day guarantee
You have 14 calendar days from the first charge to request a full refund of the subscription, with no need to justify the reason. We return 100 % of the amount to the same payment method used.
This period reflects the right of withdrawal recognised under European Union consumer law and applies equally in every country we sell to, even where local law does not require it.
3.2 Renewals
You can cancel renewal at any time from the billing portal or by writing to us. Cancelling stops future charges and keeps access until the end of the period already paid for.
Outside the initial 14 days, renewals already charged are not refunded automatically, except in the cases in section 3.3. If you cancel right after an unexpected renewal, write to us: we review case by case and we do not want to charge someone who is not using the product.
3.3 Always fully refunded
- Duplicate charge or a billing error on our side.
- Unauthorised charge, including one made by a minor without the consent of whoever holds parental responsibility or guardianship.
- Extended unavailability of the service caused by us during the billed period.
- A renewal charged after a cancellation requested in time.
3.4 How to request it
Write to arbex.cc@outlook.com from the email address the subscription was taken out with, stating the reason. You can also request it from the receipt you received when subscribing. We confirm receipt within 5 working days and, once approved, the amount returns to the original payment method within 5 to 10 working days, depending on your bank.
3.5 What is not covered
- The free plan: there is no charge, so there is no refund.
- Accounts suspended for breaching the conditions of use in section 1.2, in particular using the product during a real assessment.
4. Independent brand notice
Interlearning AI is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, approved, sponsored, accredited or associated in any way with the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) or any of its entities.
The terms "IB", "International Baccalaureate", "Diploma Programme", "Internal Assessment", "Extended Essay", "TOK" and "CAS" are, where applicable, trademarks or designations of their respective owners, and are used here purely descriptively and referentially, to identify the academic curriculum this product supports.
All platform content is built from publicly available information —subject guides and assessment criteria— and does not reproduce, replicate or derive from exam material protected by IBO copyright.
No communication from Interlearning AI should be read as accreditation, certification or endorsement by the IBO of the academic results of anyone using the platform.
The platform does not distribute official examinations, past papers or any other protected material belonging to the IBO. The mock exams are original: they are produced by a language model from the publicly available structure of each subject, and do not reproduce real examination questions.
The name "Interlearning AI" and its visual identity are our own and do not incorporate, imitate or evoke any IBO mark, logo or denomination. Should any wording on this site suggest otherwise, this section prevails.
